Attending the ‘Your Apprenticeship, Your Future’ event 

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of attending the ‘Your Apprenticeship, Your Future’ event, hosted at Graig Campus, Coleg Sir Gâr. The day was designed to connect young people with local employers and apprenticeship opportunities. 

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn new skills, gain real work experience, and build a successful career. This event gave students the chance to meet businesses, explore different industries, and get advice on starting their apprenticeship journey. 

The event saw a fantastic turnout, with students from local schools, including Ysgol Bryngwyn, Ysgol Coedcae, St John Lloyd Catholic Comprehensive, Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade, and Ysgol Glan y Môr, eager to explore apprenticeship opportunities. 

Many of our amazing members and partners also attended, including Lloyd & Gravell Ltd, Castle Scaffolding Wales, Morganstone Ltd, Carmarthenshire County Council, TAD Builders Ltd, Cyfle Building Skills, Westward Energy Services, TRJ, CITB, and Bouygues UK. Their involvement highlighted the fantastic opportunities available within construction and their commitment to developing future talent.  

Employers, like our members, shared information on their specialties, answered questions, and in some cases, even looked for potential new apprentices!
