Established in 2018, Elijah Homes Limited is a family-owned, multi-disciplinary construction company led by Johan Taffetsauffer. Since launching the business, Johan and his team have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work with a clear focus on clients, safety, and long-term relationships, across Wales.

Working across Llanelli, Swansea, Cardiff, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, and Pembrokeshire, Elijah Homes offers a wide range of services. These include groundworks and civils, renovations and refurbishments, extensions, new builds, and commercial fit-outs. The company works with homeowners, developers, housing associations, and public sector clients, helping to deliver projects that fulfil the needs of local communities.

Elijah Homes works on both residential and commercial projects, ranging from small home improvements to large, multi-phase developments. Their experience includes working for clients such as Carmarthenshire County Council, housing associations, and private organisations – a testament to the trust they have built across the region.

Founder, Johan, brings many years of practical industry experience, having worked on major projects valued at up to £350 million. Just as importantly, it helps the team develop their skills and confidence, with a strong focus on training and mentoring young people entering the industry. By bringing together experienced professionals and emerging talent, Elijah Homes creates a positive working environment where high standards are expected and supported – a commitment that not only benefits clients but strengthens the wider construction workforce in the region.

Elijah Homes joined our network with a genuine desire to give something back to the industry and to play an active role in developing the future construction workforce in Carmarthenshire. The team is passionate about supporting students, apprentices, and trainees by sharing practical knowledge and real on-site experience, helping young people build the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to succeed.

By joining our network, the company can connect with local colleges, work experience programmes, and apprenticeship pathways, including Cyfle’s shared apprenticeship scheme, helping to create clear routes into the industry while supporting the training of the next generation of professionals.

While participating in our work experience and apprenticeship schemes, Elijah Homes is particularly keen to use the knowledge and experience of its office-based staff and tradespeople to mentor and guide young people entering the sector. This hands-on approach will help shape skilled, confident professionals while contributing to the long-term growth and sustainability of the local construction industry.
